Old Friends are Gold

Early this week

I had the great pleasure

Of meeting up with a dear friend of mine.

We met in the United flight attendant training program

Both small town girls

Stacie from Iowa

and Bry from Ohio

Suddenly thrust into a big city:

Chicago

Too many years ago to count

So young...

So excited about starting the

"glamorous life"

of a Flight Attendant!

We have remained in touch

However

Sometimes not talking for years at a time

But

She's the kind of friend

That you can pick up where you left off

Without having to fill in all the little parts

Maybe you are lucky like me

And have people like that in your life.

You know the type...

they "get you"...

SO---

We were very happy to discover we are a mere

FOUR hours from eachother!!

So I took a trip to see my sweet friend Stacie and her amazing family!!

Our boys are just months apart

And enjoyed eachother's toys and company!

We went to the park

Where they refused to leave... LOL!

(Hmmm... they, too, enjoy drinking together!!)

tee hee hee!!

Stacie made lots of adorable gifts for me...

Like these adorable pots of fresh herbs!!!

And a darling little mini book for pictures

With JJ's favorite theme!!

If I might add...

She had chocolates and my favorite water waiting for me, too!

Even bubbly water!!

*sigh*

She is still the sweet, warm, beautiful and friendly person I met so many moons ago!

(If I might add...

during training she had to take me to Emergency Room

which was quite the ordeal as I literally was BLINDED!!

See, I didn't forget, Stacie!! *wink*)

We are planning on getting together again

Talks of a mini familiy holiday in Branson

New friends are Silver

And old friends are GOLD!

THANK YOU, Stacie, for being a good piece of my life.

Blessed.

I am.

LOVE
Bryanna
