Well, today...
as I was making Debbie's awesome fried beans for dinner
JJ wanted a handful of the beans before I cooked them.
JJ is not a fan of veggies
So I was really surprised and super happy.
So...
I gave him some .
And he went outside with them.
I didnt pay too much attention
I decided I was happy that
he at least seemed interested in the beans
Even if he didnt eat them.
A few minutes later he asked for the salt and pepper
(Again, I was busy cooking so... I gave them to him.
What could it hurt, right?)
A minute later he comes back into the kitchen
And hands me back the salt and pepper.
Then he shuts the door and starts to stare out the window at something.
I said,
"JJ whatcha doin?"
(it was thundering)
And he asked,
"Rain?"
I said
"Yes, it sounds like rain is coming."
He pointed out the window to the ground
And there were the beans
Puzzled, I asked
"Why are the beans outside"
And he said,
"Beanstalk"
(apparently salt, pepper and rain
are the recipe to grow the
perfect beanstalk!! LOL)
He has been staring out the window
At his beans
Waiting for them to grow.
Even excited it is raining!!
I guess he is catching on!!!!!!
